Weekly Ride: 10 am Saturday at Wilder Ranch (and beyond)

Meet you at the park sign!

Next Ride:

Every Saturday since 1996.... give or take.

All rider levels are welcome. The pace depends on who shows up. Most of the regulars are intermediate and very social. If the group is large then we may split into a fast and slow group.

We would like to welcome beginner or slower mountain bikers on our monthly slow ride every 4th Saturday of the month. This ride will be at a more leisurely pace. We may not cover as many miles but it will be a beginner friendly ride. There will probably be an intermediate/advanced group for the regulars and fast people as well. The slow ride is beginner friendly but does require fitness and controlled off-road bike handling skills. The next slow ride will be

Meet at 10 am at the park sign at just north of the tunnel under Highway 1. The best way to get to the meeting spot is to park in the Wilder Ranch parking lot, walk your bike through the Ranch area, past the barn, chickens and garden, ride under the highway using the tunnel and you should see the park sign by the cattle gate.

You don't have to be a member to ride. This is a great opportunity to meet local riders and enjoy the abundance of trails in our corner of the world.

Check the weather since rain 48 hours before cancels the ride. Ride leader varies, e-mail Mark Davidson for more info.

Monthly Ride: MBOSC and ROMP Second Sunday of the Month at Soquel Demonstration Forest

Big Daddy Daryl

Next Ride:

Grab that trailbike and trim your mullet! It's time to drag that big bike of yours up to the Santa Cruz mountains! It's the monthy ride at Soquel Demonstration Forest (a.k.a. SDF, a.k.a. Demo) with our friends in ROMP

All the rides at SDF are intermediate. There will be long climbs and fast descents. Full suspension recommended. Body armor is optional. We will still maintain a social pace with re-groups.

Route to be determined but we will probably do a couple of loops. There will be an opportunity to bail out after one loop.

Post ride lunch at the Summit Store is extremely likely.

Meet at 9:30 am on the second Sunday of the month.

Cross the bridge at Highland Road and meet at the inside parking lot. Car pooling is encouraged.

Ride leader: Daryl Breuninger
