Caletti cycles are handmade by John Caletti right here in Santa Cruz. Each bike is a custom creation; geometry, tubing, fit, finish, and function are tuned for the rider.
I enjoy riding and building mountain bikes (especially 29ers), cyclocross bikes, road bikes, and café cruisers. My material of choice is modern, lightweight, high strength steel for the ride and durability. Some road and cross bikes incorporate a carbon seat/chain stay in the rear. All frames are powdercoated by the masters at Spectrum powderworks - so the sky's the limit for durable and artistic finish options.
I'm proud to be a member of MBOSC and support trail access and open space preservation and enjoyment. I'm also a big proponent of bicycles as utilitarian transportation. Please take a look at my website, give me a call if you have questions.
Thank you,
John Caletti
Seabright Brewery 519 Seabright Avenue, Santa Cruz, California 95062
We hold our monthly meetings at Seabright Brewery (second Wednesday of the month) and they have been very generous by kicking in a few pitchers.
The current favorite is Resolution Red Ale a.k.a. "Kenny". Copper-red in color, this fine ale uses over 600 lbs. of grain and seemingly as many hops. This beer offers a delicate balance of hops and alcohol. In fact, a few days before the meeting, I start to salivate in anticipation. Ken-nay!!
Another fine beer is the very fabulous and tasty Blur Pale Ale. A delicious India Pale Ale in 22 oz bottles. Great for warm summer nights or camping trips. The official beer of the MBOSC road trip 2003.
Look for Blur and "Ken-nay!!" in 22 oz bottles in stores in Santa Cruz County and beyond!
BR Lights is a company born from the desire for a simple lighting solution that meets the demands of aggressive night riding. BR Lights uses LEDs and an integrated battery system which increases the durability and lifetime while decreasing the weight.
BR Lights sponsored the MBOSC womens 24 Hours of Adrenaline team. If you are in the market for a night riding lighting system then please consider BR Lights.
Watsonville based Fox Racing Shox is a great corporate citizen and has been an amazing supporter of MBOSC. They did the "Free The Trail" program to help with the Nisene Marks legal appeal and have been very supportive of MBOSC events.
Fox makes top quality suspension systems and we encourage you all to consider Fox Shox when upgrading your bikes.
